Once, long ago, there was a benevolent African Chief, who lived the jungle. His followers built him a gorgeous and stately chair to sit in while addressing his tribe . One evening, when he and his warriors returned from a hunting foray, the shocked savages found their Ruler's hut destroyed and his beloved throne gone. The tribesmen were furious and plotted revenge on the perpetrators, and to prevent a reoccurrence, they built a large grass hut with a heavy beam across the ceiling. They built him a new and even more luxurious throne. To prevent theft, they lashed it to the beam with long ropes and pulleys, and whenever it wasn't in use, hoisted it up to the beam and stowed it in the rafters. This scheme was successful in foiling any attempt to steal it. Sadly, one day, while lowering it for a special occasion, the rope broke, sending the heavy chair down, which killed the Chief, who was standing beneath it.----------------------- -There is a moral to this tale; which is : People, who live in grass houses, shouldn't stow thrones.
