Dick, I posted a long and detailed reply to a similiar request on this forum way back a ways. 

It involved just using lattice strip and thin ply wood to make 'Jigs' or, templates. I'll look up the archives and refer it to you .

 No need to use template guides or expensive gadgets either. 

 You can check yourself by finding posts on Stein/Steinmetz/hinge templates/ etc etc.  

 It involves using your 6" router base with it.s edge guide and a 1/2"straight hinge cutting bit,several pieces of lattice strip or masonite exactly 2-3/4" long (For spacers.)
